Red Bulls face four national champions in the CHLHelmut Schlögl: “An interesting mix” // Champions Hockey League EC Red Bull Salzburg will face Skellefteå AIK, Sparta Prague, SønderjyskE Vojens, ZSC Lions, Växjö Lakers and Unia Oświęcim from Poland in the regular season of the Champions Hockey League 2024/25. EC Red Bull Salzburg will face Skellefteå AIK from Sweden in their home opener and will face SønderjyskE Vojens on the same weekend. The last game of the regular season will take place on October 15 against Sparta Prague. The three home games of the Red Bulls in the CHL Regular Season are included in the season ticket.

Impressions from last season
The Red Bulls will play against four champions in the European premier class: in the Eisarena Salzburg against the Swedish champions and last season's CHL finalists Skellefteå AIK, the Danish champions SønderjyskE Vojens and away against the Swiss champions ZSC Lions and Polish champions Unia Oświęcim. In addition, EC Red Bull Salzburg will face two more top-level opponents in the form of the Växjö Lakers and Sparta Prague. Two of this year's CHL opponents, the ZSC Lions and the Växjö Lakers, have already met the Red Bulls at the Red Bulls Salute in Zell am See.

CHL | Mode
24 teams play in the CHL Regular Season. Each drawn team is played once. This means that each team has six games, three at home and three away, against six different opponents. This results in a ranking of all 24 teams (3-point ranking). The top 16 teams qualify for the play-off round of 16, with 1st playing against 16th, 2nd against 15th and so on. This results in the playoff tree up to the final. The playoff matches are decided in a first and second leg, with the total number of goals (aggregate score) being decisive in the event of a tie. Only the final is decided in an all-important game.
