The participants
EV Zug | ... is a traditional Swiss club that was founded in 1967 and has won the National League championship three times to date. EVZ won the last two titles back to back in 2021 and 2022. In August 2022, the Swiss also took part in the Red Bulls Salute for the first time, finishing third in Kitzbühel.
Rögle BK | ... is a top club from the Swedish SHL and celebrated its greatest success in 2022 by winning the Champions Hockey League. A year earlier, Rögle finished runners-up in the Swedish championship. The Red Bulls Salute in Zell am See will be the first time the Swedes will be seen.
EHC Red Bull Munich | ... has already won the German championship four times. From 2016 to 2018, the Munich team made it a three-peat in the PENNY DEL, followed by the fourth championship title in 2023. The Germans' greatest international successes include reaching the final of the CHL 2018/19. Red Bull Munich has also taken part in the Red Bulls Salute since 2017 and has already won the tournament twice.
EC Red Bull Salzburg | ... is the most successful team in the win2day ICE Hockey League and was crowned league champions for the ninth time last season. The Salzburg team made history in the process; for the first time, a club managed to win the title in the cross-border league three times in a row - the three-peat. The Red Bulls Salute is inextricably linked with the Salzburgers, who have won the tournament twice so far.
