Florian Baltram & Ali Wukovits

With Florian Baltram and Ali Wukovits into the next seasonThe two forwards bring a wealth of experience to the Red Bulls team// Team updateEC Red Bull Salzburg is pleased to announce that it will continue to rely on the experience and dedication of two long-serving forwards next season. Florian Baltram's contract has been extended, while Ali Wukovits' contract is still valid.
Salzburg's stalwart Florian Baltram
Florian Baltram – who turned 29 just under three weeks ago – has spent his entire professional career in Salzburg, establishing himself as a key player for the Red Bulls. Last season, the forward reaffirmed his consistently strong performance, achieving the second-best result of his career with 23 points in the regular season.
Baltram is one of the longest-serving players for the Red Bulls. In 2015, the forward, who can play center or wing, moved from the WHL to Salzburg. Over the past eleven years with the Red Bulls' professional team, he has scored 66 goals and added 133 assists in 536 games, winning five titles with the record-holding ICE Hockey League champions. With eleven seasons in Salzburg, Baltram, along with Peter Hochkofler, is currently the longest-serving player with the Red Bulls, behind Thomas Raffl (15 seasons), and has played in every game for the club.

Ali Wukovits aims to fight his way back
Last season, Ali Wukovits was only able to return to action in the final rounds following planned hip surgery. The 29-year-old Vienna native played nine games and, despite the lengthy rehabilitation period, delivered a strong performance before a further muscle injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Over the coming months, the Austrian national team forward will be systematically rehabilitated – he also missed half of the regular season last year due to a persistent injury – to be able to perform at his best again next season.
Wukovits, who has celebrated four ICE Hockey League titles with the Red Bulls, contributed 58 goals and 157 assists in 463 games (including playoffs) for the club. The upcoming season will be his sixth with the Red Bulls. The Red Bulls thank both players for their commitment and performance last season and look forward to the next season together.
