The 30-year-old has been in Salzburg for two years and is now entering his third season with the reigning champions alongside fellow goalkeeper Atte Tolvanen. David Kickert is a reliable goalkeeper who has now been playing in the win2day ICE Hockey League for eleven years and therefore has a lot of valuable experience. In the last two years, the native of Lower Austria has played 37 games for the Red Bulls, playing his part in winning two championships with the Salzburgers - he also became champion once with the spusu Vienna Capitals in 2026/17 - and also made four appearances in the Champions Hockey League.
