Juniors meet Unterland in the playoff quarter-finalsTeemu Levijoki: "These will definitely be tough games"// JuniorsThe Red Bull Hockey Juniors choose the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers as their playoff quarterfinal opponent in the Alps Hockey League.The Juniors secured their place in the playoffs and the right to play at home with their third place in the basic round. After also finishing the Master Round in third place, they were allowed to choose their playoff quarter-final pairing after the Rittner Buam SkyAlps and the S.G. Cortina Hafro. In the qualifying round, which ran parallel to the Master Round, the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers and HC Meran/o Pircher secured the last two playoff spots.
The Rittner Buam were the first to choose EC Bregenzerwald; Cortina opted for Meran/o and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors for the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. The Wipptal Broncos will therefore face EK Die Zeller Eisbären.
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors have already met the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers twice in the basic round and won both games. With a 4:1 home win and a 6:8 away win, this playoff pairing promises to be exciting.

"These will definitely be tough games. The clash was already very physical in the basic round. But we are fully focused on ourselves. It's important that we play our best field hockey now. Our preferred opponent was actually Bregenzerwald, but Ritten beat us to it. Ultimately, though, you have to win the games, regardless of the opponent."
