Drake Rymsha
"I got the opportunity to play for the Red Bull organization in Salzburg. I couldn't turn it down, I'm very happy to be here. The European style of play recently in Zvolen suited me well, even if it is a bit different to North American field hockey. I see myself as a hard worker and I'm looking forward to the first games to show that to the fans. And of course I want to help the team win the championship. That's what I was brought in for."
Head Coach Oliver David
"We are delighted to welcome Drake to our team. Drake is a center forward who can set up play, shoot and score. He prides himself on working hard and being a dedicated professional. We are confident he will enhance our offensive output and fit seamlessly into our team defense scheme."
Drake Rymsha played in the Canadian junior league OHL with the London Knights, Ottawa 67's and Sarnia Sting. Before and after that, from 2018 to 2023, the forward played for various clubs in the AHL and ECHL. This summer, he accepted his first European commitment with HKM Zvolen in the Slovakian top league, where he scored 4 goals and 3 assists in 6 games.
