Check through the glassShards bring luck// JuniorsThrough the glass to victory: an extraordinary moment in the Salzburg derbyIn the heated duel between Red Bull Hockey Juniors and EK Die Zeller Eisbären, which brought the excitement of ice hockey to the fore, a special scene occurred during the first period: defender Alexander spectacularly broke through the glass after an intensive check at the boards.
Forward Alexander Rebernig:
"I wanted to get the puck and took the check, and suddenly the whole glass broke. I didn't know what to do at first, but then everyone laughed anyway. It was just stupid that I then had to remove the glass everywhere, but I didn't hurt myself. Something like that definitely doesn't happen every day!"

They say that broken glass brings good luck, and for the Red Bull Hockey Juniors this proverb seemed to come true this evening. The Juniors promptly won the Salzburg derby against the Eisbären with a 3:0 victory.
