Lukas Schreier Leaves the Red Bulls// Team updateLukas Schreier has left EC Red Bull Salzburg and will take on a new challenge in the win2day ICE Hockey League. The 26-year-old Salzburg native grew up with the Red Bulls and played for the professional team for the last eight years.
Lukas Schreier was trained in the EC Red Bull Salzburg youth program and subsequently progressed through all age groups of the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. After his professional debut in the 2018/19 season, the Salzburg native celebrated four titles in the win2day ICE Hockey League with the Red Bulls in 298 games (4 goals, 24 assists). He also won two Austrian AHL championships with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and an U18 championship in the former Erste Bank Juniors League. In total, the defenseman, who also played as a forward for the last two years, played eight seasons with the Salzburg professional team. For the upcoming season, Schreier was not offered a new contract with the Red Bulls' professional team.
