Troy Bourke extends his contract with the Red BullsThe forward is entering his fourth season with Salzburg// Team updateThe 31-year-old Canadian, whose contract has been extended, put in another strong performance last season and has consistently been one of the best strikers in the Red Bulls team for two years. His debut season in 2022/23 was not under a good star. After five games in the basic round of the win2day ICE Hockey League, Troy Bourke suffered a serious injury and was only able to return to action in the playoffs. However, the goal-getter showed all his skills the following season and repeated his strong performance in the most recent championship season.
Highlights Troy Bourke
The center benefits from his speed and a good shot and is now also making the most of all the experience he has gained from the DEL and the Finnish top league Liiga, among others. The ‘Cowboy’, as he likes to be called, finished last season with 19 goals and 32 assists in 56 games, making him Salzburg's fourth-best points scorer. Bourke, who also contributed to the Red Bulls' success in the CHL with 2 goals and 6 assists in 10 games, became ICE Hockey League champion for the third time in a row.
