Mario Huber is an absolute leading player for the Red BullsTeam-internal fourth-best scorer after the regular season// Team updateMario Huber has been playing for the Red Bulls for eight years now and has developed into an indispensable player who has matured significantly both in terms of play and mentally. The Red Bulls have now extended the contract with the assistant captain. With 14 goals in the basic round, making him the Red Bulls' fourth-best scorer in the regular season, and a further 2 goals in the play-offs of the last championship season, Mario Huber is definitely one of the spearheads of Salzburg's goal scorers. The 28-year-old Tyrolean is a striker who is strong in running and tackling and has a great deal of energy and passion to spark the crowd. Huber also showed these qualities in the Champions Hockey League with 3 goals and an assist, his most successful CHL season to date.

For the past three years, the father of two has played in almost all league games and has also led the team as assistant captain with a strong character. His open manner is respected within the team and is also honored by the Salzburg public (even with its own fan curve). Huber has only decided to take a break from the national team level this year in order to have more time for his family and to be able to fully regenerate his body after a long playoff run and two World Championship appearances.
