Ali Wukovits remains a Bull The Vienna-born forward is entering his fifth season with Salzburg// Team updateThe 28-year-old forward has had a difficult season in which he missed more than half of the basic round of the win2day ICE Hockey League due to injury. However, he returned to the Red Bulls' lineup shortly before the playoffs. Ali Wukovits is a fighter. After a so-called ‘epidemic season’ in 2023/24, in which he only managed two goals in total, he came back full of energy for the last season and was already well on his way with 6 goals until he was stopped by a protracted muscle injury. After his comeback at the end of January after two and a half months, the forward scored another goal in the basic round and one in the playoffs. He also had 8 assists. Wukovits, who was already ICE Hockey League champion once with the Vienna Capitals and four times with the Red Bulls, only played 33 ICE games in total last season.

Last fall, he also took part in the Olympic qualifiers with the Austrian national team. Wukovits has withdrawn from Team Austria's upcoming duties at the World Championships in Sweden and Denmark in order to fully recover from last season's injuries.
