Eishockey 1x1: An initiative that creates new ice hockey professionals and ice hockey fansA total of 200 children took part in the Eishockey 1x1 initiative this season. // Eishockey 1x1With the Eishockey 1x1, the ex-professionals of the Red Bulls, Manuel Latusa and Daniel Welser, together with active and former professionals, want to pass on the fascination of the sport to children.
The project was primarily aimed at the target group of “non-ice field hockey kids”. The aim is to attract new children to the sport in Salzburg and the region and give the sport more depth.
Looking back on a successful 1x1 season
The past season of Eishockey 1x1 began on November 4, 2024 in Salzburg and took the project through various cities and communities in the region. With dates in Vöcklabruck, Bischofshofen, Niedernsill and Wels, the former pros were able to get around 200 new children interested in the sport of ice hockey. This year's Eishockey 1x1 season ended in Wels on January 27.
