Red Bulls end 1st semester at Liefering elementary schoolGreat enthusiasm among pupils and teachers // Fans of the FutureThe Fans of the Future project brought the Red Bulls to the Liefering 2 elementary school in Salzburg for the first time. Experienced 'teachers' Lukas Schreier and Luca Auer led the ice hockey lesson with great skill.The 23 pupils of JM 1 at VS Lieferung were amazed when the professional forwards Lukas Schreier and Luca Auer entered the class for the first lesson on Thursday and took over the lesson - a surprise visit arranged by the two teachers Ms. Schießendopler and Ms. Plätzer.

The children (and also the two teachers) took the opportunity and had lots of questions for the professionals, because in this case they had already seen a Red Bulls match live in the stadium - the 4:3 win against Innsbruck - and were now able to ask specific questions about what had happened, because not all the rules and procedures are easy to understand the first time round.

Impressions from the class room
“I'm more of a center type”
With two young Red Bulls players, the class also has two young ice hockey stars in its ranks who were able to answer many of the questions themselves, making it twice as easy for Luca and Lukas. When Lukas asked what position he plays, one of the two answered that he started out as a defenseman, but then realized that he's more of a center. If that's not the next Salzburg pro growing up!
As always, the highlight was putting on a full set of ice hockey equipment, which Mandeq was happy to do. Once again, the ice hockey lesson was over far too quickly. The players quickly signed a few autographs and headed off to their next training session.
The Red Bulls would like to thank the ice hockey enthusiasts for their warm welcome and wish them a wonderful vacation and a successful second half of the school year.
PS: The fact that the Red Bulls' press officer, who accompanied the players on their school visit, miscalculated at the end of the lesson when solving a multiplication with a four-digit number on the blackboard is another story...
