Now it's time to wait for the semi-final opponent, as the other three quarter-final matches are still in progress and will continue tonight. A decision on Salzburg's next opponent can only be made on Friday in the sixth game of the quarter-final series at the earliest, as the tie between Bolzano and Villach is 2:2 after four games. In the semi-finals, the top-ranked club plays the lowest-ranked club after the basic round, while the second-best club plays the second-worst club.

The Red Bulls' run of success continues. They have reached the preliminary round for the 12th time in a row (excluding the 2019/20 coronavirus season). This is the longest semi-final run by a team in the history of the multinational league.
Since the Red Bulls, as runners-up in the basic round, will definitely have first home rights in the semi-finals, the first two home match dates - Tue, March 18 and Sun, March 23 - have already been set. Advance ticket sales have already started.
