24 Januar vs. EC-KAC | Tickets It was the longest enforced break that Florian Baltram has had to endure in his career to date. A damaged ankle could not be postponed any longer and was operated on at the beginning of September last year. Almost four months followed before his comeback. Four months of painstaking recovery training and a lot of patience, while his teammates played game after game in the CHL and ICE Hockey League.
Now Baltram is back and wants to quickly regain his old form. He made his comeback in Graz on December 26 and has now played eight games and recorded one assist. “I'm happy to be back and to be on the ice with the boys. It's been a long four months,” says the forward, who has also been working as a co-commentator on the live stream in the meantime. “A few things still aren't going the way I want them to. But that's quite normal when you consider that I only started skating again six weeks ago.” Next assignment: Wednesday in Bolzano...
In this interview, the forward tells us how he has spent the last few months and how he has fared.
