Red Bulls sign forward Nikolaus KrausThe Vienna-born player moves from vice-champion KAC to Salzburg// ROSTER UPDATEEC Red Bull Salzburg has signed winger Nikolaus Kraus. After center Andrew Rowe and defenseman Nash Nienhuis, Kraus is the third new addition for the upcoming season.The 27-year-old native of Vienna played for one season with the EC Red Bull Salzburg junior team at the age of 15. He then continued his training with the Cologne Sharks. Kraus made his professional debut in the 2015/16 season with the EC-KAC, where he played a total of nine seasons and won the win2day ICE Hockey League twice with the team.
Last season, Kraus scored 27 points in 58 games and reached the league final with the EC-KAC. In the decisive game 7, however, his team was beaten 2:6 by the Red Bulls.
