Atte Tolvanen stays with the Red Bulls The Finn enters his fourth season with the Salzburgers // Roster UpdateEC Red Bull Salzburg and goalkeeper Atte Tolvanen will continue their partnership in the coming season. The Red Bulls are pleased to be able to rely on the 29-year-old Finn, who has played a major role in the last three championship titles, in goal. Three seasons, three titles. Atte Tolvanen's star really rose when he joined Salzburg during the 2021/22 season. The Finn performed strongly in the basic round, ended the season by winning the win2day ICE Hockey League with the Red Bulls and was subsequently honored with the league's playoff MVP. The following year, 2022/23, he was between the posts from the start and again confirmed his strong performance, which again led to the Salzburg championship title and once again earned him the award for best player of the playoffs (MVP).
In the recently concluded 2023-24 season, which ended with the Red Bulls' third title in a row, Tolvanen once again demonstrated his skills in 32 basic round games and 19 playoff games and formed the backbone of Salzburg's success. The Finn continues to be one of the top goalies in the league and regularly underlined his exceptional talent, especially in critical situations. Tolvanen will enter his fourth season with the Red Bulls in the fall.
