Paul Huber leaves the Red Bulls Devin Steffler will not stay in Salzburg either // Roster updateThe Red Bulls and Paul Huber are ending their collaboration. The 23-year-old forward is looking for a new challenge after nine years in the Red Bulls' organization. The defenseman Devin Steffler has already accepted a new commitment in Innsbruck. Paul Huber joined the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy in 2015 and has gradually earned his place in the Red Bulls' professional team. In the 2019/20 season, he made his debut with the Salzburgers in the win2day ICE Hockey League (then still Erste Bank Eishockey Liga) and established himself in the professional squad just one year later. The forward celebrated three championship titles in the win2day ICE Hockey League with the Red Bulls and played a major role in their success.

Devin Steffler started 2020/21 with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in Salzburg and made his debut in the Red Bulls' professional team one season later. The defenseman with Austrian-American citizenship played a total of 46 games with the pros and thus played his part in Salzburg's last three championship titles, but at the same time played with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the Alps Hockey League until the end.
