Red Bulls part ways with Adam Payerl // PlayersEC Red Bull Salzburg and forward Adam Payerl have terminated their existing employment relationship by mutual agreement.
The 32-year-old Canadian came to Salzburg from the Augsburg Panthers in the DEL in the summer, but was rarely able to fulfill the expectations placed in him by the Red Bulls.
Helmut Schlögl, Managing Director Pro
"Unfortunately, Adam didn't fit into our system with his style of play. The expectations placed in him from his time in Augsburg were unfortunately not fulfilled. That happens in professional sport time and again. However, we are convinced that Adam will come into his own in a team with a different playing philosophy. He is a great person and an exemplary professional."
Payerl played 29 games with the Red Bulls in the win2day ICE Hockey League, scoring four goals and providing six assists. The Red Bulls would like to thank him for his commitment and achievements and wish him all the best and every success in his professional and private life.
