Lucas Thaler once again nominated for Young Star selectionThe 21-year-old striker has really blossomed recently // Young Star-WahlThe "Young Star of the Month" has been chosen for the second time this season. Once again, four young players who made a strong showing in November are up for election. Lucas Thaler is once again in the running for the Red Bulls. Lucas Thaler was already nominated for the Young Star in September/October and has once again come into focus due to his current performance. The 21-year-old center was born in Villach, trained in Sweden from 2018 to 2021 as a junior at Mora IK and then came to Salzburg, where he scored his first goal in his ICE debut on 5 February 2021 in Bratislava. The Austrian 2023 World Cup participant is now an integral part of the Salzburg professional team. In November, Thaler recorded three goals and two assists in six appearances and also scored a brace in Asiago on November 26.
In addition to Lucas Thaler, the following players have been nominated for selection:

Voting procedure
First, five monthly winners are determined. Four players per month will be nominated to take part in the voting. Due to only a few match days in September 2023, the first two months have been combined into one election. The five monthly winners will then compete for the title of "Young Star of the 2023/24 season" at the start of the playoffs.
The vote consists of two components: In addition to the fan voting on the league homepage, the TV experts from Austria, Italy and Slovenia also cast their votes. If two or more players receive the same number of votes, they will be ranked according to the result of the fan vote.
