“We all know him” is what many will have thought when the signing of Scott Kosmachuk by the Red Bulls was announced. And indeed, the 30-year-old goal scorer has already made the domestic league unsafe in the service of VSV from 2020 to 2022. Kosmachuk even finished his second season in Villach as the third-best scorer in the entire ICE Hockey League.
After a season with TPS in the Finnish Liiga and another season with Lada Togliatti, the forward has accepted the call to Salzburg and wants to continue his old glories with the Austrian defending champions. “It was cool to get back into the flow of the game against a top Finnish team. Now I'm looking forward to Hydro Fehérvár AV19, the games against the Hungarians were always tough.”
