The latest highlight came from the U16 AKA team, which successfully defended its title in the Czech U15 League, securing its second consecutive title following its inaugural victory last season.
The Red Bull Hockey Academy’s U16 team, which competed in the Czech U15 League during the 2025–26 season with players born in 2011 and younger, won the third final game 4–1 against Bílí Tygři Liberec on Wednesday, thereby sweeping the series. After two 4-0 home wins, the Academy team also prevailed on the road, successfully defending their championship title in the Czech U15 League. In the decisive third final game, Salzburg initially fell behind but tied the score in the first period thanks to Jonas Wierer. In the second period, Ian Luca Scheerschmidt scored twice to give his team a 3-1 lead, and Adam Kovac sealed the 4-1 final score in the third period.

2025–26 U15 Extraliga Champions
As early as March 29, 2026, the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy’s U17 team had secured the championship title in the U17 League organized by the ÖEHV. In the fourth final game, the Academy team defeated the Upper Austria Ice Hockey Academy 4–1 at the Red Bull Academy, winning the best-of-five series 3–1. Mika Stamms put Salzburg ahead on a power play in the 6th minute; after the opponent tied the game, the U17 AKA responded promptly: Hannes Bär made it 2-1 in the 28th minute, and shortly thereafter, Kirill Berezhnov extended the lead to 3-1 in the 29th minute. Marcel Wagner scored into an empty net in the 58th minute to make it 4-1, sealing the championship title.

2025–26 ÖEHV U17 Champions
The Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy’s U18 team claimed its first title of the season on March 22, 2026. With a 4-0 road win against Ujpesti Jegkorong Akademia in Budapest, the Academy team also won the best-of-five series 3-1 and were crowned champions of the U18 International League organized by the ÖEHV. Luca Krizanovic put Salzburg ahead just two minutes into the game, and Noel Lußnig extended the lead to 2-0 in the 16th minute. In the second period, David Bertignoll scored in the 28th minute and Maximilian Spielmann in the 39th minute, while goalie Bastian Bauer kept a clean sheet in the decisive final victory.

2025–26 ÖEHV U18i Champions
With championship titles for the U16 AKA, U17 AKA, and U18 AKA, the Red Bull Hockey Academy claimed three titles in the 2025–26 season. Last season, four out of five academy teams had already reached the finals, with three of them securing the championship title.
