He celebrated several successes with the university team, winning four regular season championships (2021–2024) and the NCAA title in 2023. Statement by Jayden Lee
“When I heard about the Red Bulls’ interest, the decision was easy for me. A club with such a high reputation and championship ambitions is incredibly appealing. I’m very excited about the move to Salzburg and think I’ll mature both as a person and as a hockey player. I want to compete for the championship with the Red Bulls and I’m also looking forward to the CHL. My goal is to help the team in every game and utilize my strengths. I’m a good skater and a tough defenseman who likes to get involved in the attack and drive the offense.”
Statement by Alan Letang, Head Coach of EC Red Bull Salzburg
“Jayden Lee brings a high-end competitive motor and elite hockey sense to the Salzburg blueline. His ability to read the game, make intelligent plays under pressure, and outwork opponents makes him a massive asset.”
Lee is expected in Salzburg at the end of July.
