Lukas Hörl und Mathias Böhm
Lukas Hörl is developing well
Defender Lukas Hörl was born in Salzburg, came up through the club's youth system, and won the U20 ICE Young Stars League title with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in 2021. A season later, in 2021/22, he made his debut with the Salzburg professional team, playing in one game, and subsequently improved year after year with increasing appearances. Last season, the 22-year-old, who also had to cope with setbacks including two multi-week injury breaks, played 37 games, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists. Hörl has won four titles in the win2day ICE Hockey League with the Red Bulls so far.
Mathias Böhm wants more after a learning year
The 22-year-old forward Mathias Böhm came to Salzburg from the Vienna Capitals last year and played 24 games with the professional team. In addition, the Klosterneuburg native played 15 games for the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the Alps Hockey League, scoring 3 goals and 9 assists. At the beginning of the year, Böhm was loaned to the Pioneers Vorarlberg in the win2day ICE Hockey League, where he distinguished himself with 2 goals in 7 games. Unfortunately, an injury then sidelined him, forcing him to end his season prematurely.
The Red Bulls thank both players for their commitment and performances last season and look forward to playing together again next season.
