The players' autographs were in high demand once again
The pain of the early playoff exit was still palpable, both among the players and the fans. However, the atmosphere quickly brightened at the season finale at Two Seasons, where the sheer number of fans made it nearly impossible to move around. Autographs here, photos there, and a relaxed presentation with interviews with selected players quickly refocused everyone on the future with optimism.
And that future has already begun, as the Raffl brothers and goaltender David Kickert were officially confirmed as the first three players for the new season that evening.
Captain Thomas Raffl
"The last few days have been very tough, we've worked so hard for this moment [the playoffs]. So we were all the more pleased that so many fans came to our end-of-season BBQ; it makes the start of the next season so much easier."
The team and fans are already dealing with their first departure. Forward Lucas Thaler, who has developed tremendously with the Red Bulls, is looking for a new challenge next season, and we wish him the best of luck.
Lucas Thaler in his last interview
"I'm incredibly grateful that I was able to spend my time here in Salzburg. It was a fantastic time, both on and off the ice. We have so many great characters on the team, from whom I learned a lot. My sincere thanks also go to the fans, who always gave us such amazing support. It was a wonderful time for me."
Dear Red Bulls fans, we would like to thank you once again for your support last season. The Red Bulls are already working on the team for the 2026/27 season, in which they will once again be aiming for the title. More information will follow in the coming days.
