When the 1.91-meter-tall defenseman signed with Salzburg on June 24, he said, among other things, “I can't wait to play in front of all the great fans!” – since his goal against KAC on September 14, at the latest, we know what he meant; just look at the photo in the header.
The defenseman does his reliable job at the back, but is also always good for a stormy forecheck with inherent scoring threat. The Canadian has also scored once in the Champions Hockey League. In our interview, he told us why he is doing so well and why he likes Salzburg so much.

"I had to get used to a few things at first, but I've been made to feel very welcome here. Playing lots of games in the CHL and the win2day ICE Hockey League right from the start was a good experience. But I'm used to being thrown in at the deep end in America, and I quickly got used to the Olympic ice. Scoring goals is also part of it for me; it just feels good to put the puck in the net."
