KalPa Kuopio is still undefeated after three CHL games.

Starting Position
The Red Bulls lost yesterday to a strong Finnish team that gave Salzburg an intense game from the start. The Red Bulls held up well with selfless defensive work and then gradually improved offensively. With the few really good chances they had, they were occasionally unlucky, and in the end, the Finns skillfully snatched the win after taking a 2-1 lead.
Tomorrow's game against Kuopio won't be any easier, as they now face the Finnish champions. Yesterday, they secured a decisive 6-1 victory at home against Norway's Storhamar Hamar, marking their third win in three games after two initial road wins against Belfast (in overtime) and Ingolstadt. The Red Bulls therefore expect a similarly intense game as against Ilves, but this time they know what to expect from the start and want to make better use of their opportunities to surprise the Finnish champions. The game will be played in Kuopio at the Olvi Arena, which opened in 1979 and has a capacity of 5,300 spectators.
In addition to the five convalescent players who did not travel with the team, Philipp Wimmer will again be absent tomorrow. His lower-body injury will be examined more closely upon his return before a reliable assessment can be made.

"We don't know the team or the arena yet. But that doesn't bother us. We want to play at a good level in the Champions Hockey League and are focused on ourselves. Tomorrow we'll play against the Finnish champions, but we know where we need to improve, and I believe we can implement that. We expect to take home points."
