Fun and games with the ÖSV acesFlorian Baltram: “Hats off to the skiers” // Training campThis isn't the first time that the ÖSV skiers have settled into the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy for three days to put the finishing touches on their preparations for the upcoming season. With tips for the final game from the Red Bulls ice hockey pros. Vincent Kriechmayr, Raphael Haaser, Marco Schwarz – who doesn't know the stars of the Austrian ski team? As in previous years, several ÖSV World Cup skiers gathered at the academy for a three-day training camp, both to add new stimuli to their daily preparations for the upcoming winter season and to bond even more as a team.
The annual highlight is the final game on the last day, which is of course about scoring goals, but also about having fun playing ice hockey. Once again, several Red Bulls ice hockey pros were on hand to help out, and they clearly felt right at home among the skiers, who are not only good on snow but also on ice.

Professional ice hockey player Florian Baltram: “Hats off to the skiers, they're not bad. It's just cool to be on the ice with the best skiers. Some of them I even know from our time together in the Austrian Armed Forces, so it's especially nice to see them again here.”
Skier and ice hockey fan Vincent Kriechmayr: “It's a cool story, every year. We always have a blast, even if I think we look modest on the ice. We wanted to do something where we could have fun in addition to fitness training, and as you can see, it has fully served its purpose.”
While the skiers are already longing for snow, the Red Bulls will also be back in action soon. Next Monday, new head coach Manny Viveiros will take his team onto the ice for the first time at the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy.
