With the release of the complete win2day ICE Hockey League schedule, the Red Bulls' program for the coming season is now finalized. The defending champions will kick off their campaign on September 12 with an away game against last year's semifinal opponents, HCB Südtirol Alperia. On Sunday, September 14, the first home game against EC-KAC will take place, which will be a rematch of last season's final. The game will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Eisarena Salzburg (live on ORF 1).
First championship duel including fan event
The home test against HC Košice on Saturday, August 16, at 3:00 p.m. will give the Red Bulls their first real opportunity to assess their position in the preseason, as the Slovaks are coming to Salzburg as the current champions and, with ten titles, the record champions of the Slovak Extraliga. The Red Bulls won their only previous match against the Slovaks 6-1 in the third-place game at Red Bulls Salute 2021 in Kitzbühel.
After the game, the Red Bulls players and coaches look forward to meeting their fans at an autograph session at the Eisarena Salzburg, followed by a cozy get-together at the Two Seasons stadium restaurant.

The regular season will consist of a double round-robin format. The teams ranked first to sixth after 48 match days will qualify directly for the playoff quarterfinals. The teams ranked seventh to tenth will compete in the pre-playoffs in a best-of-three format. The winners of the two series will complete the field of participants for the quarterfinals.
