Six Red Bulls at the World Championship in Sweden Friday first group game against Finland// National teamAustria's national team starts its group games at the IIHF World Championship in Stockholm (Sweden) and Herning (Denmark) on Friday and wants to stay in the top division.
Austria has managed to stay in the top division three times in a row recently, but is playing in the group of the best 16 teams at the World Championship for the sixth time in a row (made possible by the circumstances of the corona pandemic and the exclusion of Russia and Belarus).

Team boss Roger Bader's squad will play their group games in Stockholm in the newly modernized Avicii Arena (with a capacity of 13,516 spectators) against Finland, hosts Sweden, Slovakia, Canada, France, Slovenia and Latvia.
