Scott Kosmachuk leaves the Red Bulls The Canadian won his first professional title with the Salzburgers// Team updateEC Red Bull Salzburg and forward Scott Kosmachuk have ended their collaboration. The 31-year-old Canadian came to Salzburg last season and played a major role in the Red Bulls' success.
Scott Kosmachuk, who had already gained two years of league experience in Villach before joining Salzburg, came to the Red Bulls in November last year and filled the gap left by the short-term injury of several Salzburg forwards. The veteran put all his experience to good use and scored 13 goals and 18 assists in 39 games, including the playoffs. In addition to his qualities as a goal-scorer, Kosmachuk also proved to be a team-oriented player, playing a major role in the Red Bulls' fourth consecutive ICE Hockey League title. It was the first title win of his professional career.
