Luca Auer on the upswingThe young forward has played his best season to date // Team updateThe 20-year-old from Salzburg played his second full season with the Red Bulls' professional team last season and has taken another step in the right direction. The Red Bulls have now extended his contract. 5 goals and 6 assists in 60 games in the win2day ICE Hockey League. This means that Luca Auer has not only played almost the entire season - including ten games in the Champions Hockey League, the Oberdorfer has only missed one game in the ICE basic round - but has also scored two more goals than in the previous season.

The player, who was born in Salzburg and trained at the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy from 2018, improved his physical play in particular in the past championship season, allowing him to get into goal-scoring situations more often and also set up his teammates better. Coupled with his good stick technique and speed, Auer now wants to continue his personal development and grow further in the Red Bulls' professional team.
