Vadim Schreiner wants to prove himself in the prosThe young forward was held back by an injury last season // Team updateAfter four years at the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy, Vadim Schreiner made his debut with the Salzburg pros last season and showed his potential before he was stopped by an injury. Now the 19-year-old German wants to hit the ground running again.
His start with the Salzburg pros was really promising. On August 8th last year, the then 18-year-old Vadim Schreiner made his Red Bulls debut in a test match against EV Zug. A week later, the Kaufbeuren-born German with a Russian background scored his first professional goal at the Red Bulls Salute in Zell am See against EHC Red Bull Munich.
Highlights Vadim Schreiner
In the win2day ICE Hockey League, Schreiner continued undeterred in his debut season and scored three goals in his first appearances in the basic round. However, a long-term wrist injury took the striker out of the game abruptly at the end of November; Schreiner was only able to return to action at the end of the basic round and then did not feature in the playoffs.

However, the now 19-year-old forward, who joined the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy in 2020 and won gold in the ICE Young Stars League with the U20 academy team and celebrated the Austrian AHL championship title with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, had more than just hinted at his potential. The Red Bulls are already looking forward to next season with the talented forward and would like to thank him for his performances last season, including in the Alps Hockey League.
