David Kickert remains the strong second man in the Salzburg goalkeeping teamThe veteran enters his fourth season with the Red Bulls // Team updateThe Red Bulls and goalkeeper David Kickert, who still has a current contract, are looking forward to another season together in Salzburg. For the 31-year-old Austrian international goalkeeper, this will be his 4. season with the reigning champions. In the past season, David Kickert once again showed in 16 basic round games with the Red Bulls that he perfectly complements the Salzburg goalkeeper team with Atte Tolvanen. In his appearances, he scores with his 12 years of experience in the pan-European league and gives his front men security with his calm and routine in goal. The Korneuburg-born goalkeeper also stood his ground in three games in the CHL (catch rate 93.6%!) and thus played his part in the Red Bulls' success in the most recent championship season.
Highlights David Kickert
Kickert also wants to earn his spurs again in the Austrian national team, where he has been an indispensable regular for many years. The strong performances at the last World Championship in the Czech Republic - such as the 3:2 win against Finland with Kickert in goal - are unforgettable. The Austrian can now form the backbone of the defense both for the Red Bulls and the Austrian national team together with the neo-Austrian Atte Tolvanen.
