Atte Tolvanen remains loyal to the Red BullsThe goalkeeper has extended his contract in Salzburg // Team updateEC Red Bull Salzburg is pleased to continue working with goalkeeper Atte Tolvanen. The 30-year-old has extended his cooperation with the defending champions of the win2day ICE Hockey League and is entering his fifth season in Salzburg.Atte Tolvanen's work at EC Red Bull Salzburg is a unique success story. Since the Finn has been between the sticks in Salzburg - he made his debut with the Red Bulls on October 2, 2021 - he has held the championship trophy in his hands at the end of every season. Four years, four Champions titles, in which he has played an invaluable part. There were also personal awards and many records.
Highlights Atte Tolvanen
For the third time - and thus more often than anyone else in the ICE Hockey League - Tolvanen was awarded the MVP of the playoffs (most valuable player) in the most recent season. With his strong performance in goal, he laid the foundation for the later successes and was once again a reliable support for his team not only in the basic round, but especially in the playoffs. The 95.8% save percentage in the postseason is an international record. With an average of just 1.23 goals against, he also conceded the fewest goals of any goalie in the playoffs.
