115 pupils and teachers (!), so it was only fitting that the sports middle school had to move into the gym. For the first time, however, the Red Bulls were not accompanied by players from the professional team, as they are currently preparing for the upcoming playoffs. Instead, junior coaches Andreas Brucker and Mathias Barth were happy to take the time to immerse themselves in the sport of ice hockey with the sports-mad boys and girls from SMS Bischofshofen and make the fascination that every ice hockey player feels tangible.

Impressions from the gym in Bischofshofen
Of course, this also includes complete equipment as well as a puck and sticks, which illustrate the theory very well. However, the students and teachers got a real impression of the dynamics and speed that make up the sport the very next day at the Red Bulls' home game against the Vienna Capitals. Not only did the Red Bulls clearly win this game, but SMS Bischofshofen also had a lot of fun in the B stands and created a great atmosphere in the stadium.
Incidentally, the two youth coaches were accompanied by Rob for the first time in Bischofshofen. The Red Bulls mascot initially listened to the coaches' explanations just as attentively as the pupils, but was then in great demand himself as a dancer and autograph signer. This was certainly not Rob's last school trip...
It continues in the summer
School visits have ended for the current 2023/24 season. But the Red Bulls will still be happy to visit you in school classes after the end of the season, i.e. in the spring until the end of the 2024 summer semester. The visit to an ice hockey game will then simply be moved to the fall, when the new 2024/25 season has started. You can find more information here.
