10th anniversary celebrated with academy summer party Raffle raised EUR 2,100 for Wings for Life // EventIt has been ten years since the Red Bull Football & Ice Hockey Academy opened in Salzburg-Liefering. This was duly celebrated at the annual academy party. It has become a nice tradition to end a long soccer and ice hockey season with a party at the academy. All the players, coaches and staff from the academy as well as from the junior soccer and ice hockey departments come together to spend an enjoyable afternoon together. There is plenty of fun to be had with various games and the academy's chefs take care of the culinary well-being of all participants in their usual manner.

A raffle was also held to mark the academy's 10th anniversary, with over 50 prizes donated by partners including EC Red Bull Salzburg. In the end, EUR 2,100 was raised, which was donated to Wings for Life.
Andreas Brucker, Director of Development Youth: "The academy party is always a worthy conclusion for all players, coaches and staff after a long season. What could be nicer than sitting together - soccer and ice hockey - having fun, exchanging ideas and reviewing and concluding the season over a barbecue?"
The academy will take a break for the first three weeks of July to carry out maintenance work before resuming full training operations at the end of July.
