Peter Hochkofler sets milestoneThe forward played his 500th professional game for the Red Bulls// PortraitBefore the Red Bulls went into their first playoff quarter-final game at home against the Black Wings Linz on Sunday, Peter Hochkofler was honored for his 500th professional game. That's something to be proud of: After the 900th league game for Thomas Raffl and the 500th league game for Mario Huber, Peter Hochkofler is the next Salzburg player to set a milestone with his 500th game. Remarkable: The 29-year-old striker has played all games with the Red Bulls. He is the first professional to achieve this in Salzburg. Before the game, Peter was honored with a special jersey, presented by Managing Director Pro Helmut Schlögl.

Born in Eppan, Italy, but already an Austrian citizen for several years, Hochkofler came to Salzburg in 2010 as a 15-year-old at the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. And was never to leave. After five seasons in the U18 and U20 teams as well as with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors - including two seasons in the Russian international junior league MHL - the forward made his debut with the Salzburg pros in 2015 and immediately found his place in the team.
The full-blooded forward, who always puts his all into his team, can now look back on 500 league games (53 goals, 73 assists). Hochkofler celebrated three championship titles in the ICE Hockey League.
