In the playoffs since 2005/06
In 2004, the Red Bulls made their debut in what is now the international ICE Hockey League. One year later, in the 2005/06 season, they made it to the playoffs, starting with the semi-finals of the top four. In the last ten seasons (with the exception of the 2020 playoffs, which were canceled due to coronavirus), the Salzburgers have reached at least the semi-finals - the longest semi-final run ever achieved by a team in the history of the multinational league.
The longest playoff series the Red Bulls have played in the past went - three times - over 19 games. 2020/11 with the final win against Klagenfurt, 2015/16 with the final win against Znojmo and 2017/18 with the final defeat against Bolzano.
