In the last three years with the Red Bulls until the end of his career in April 2019, Matthias Trattnig led the Salzburg team as captain. He wore the C on his chest for a total of five seasons and never held back with his opinions. When he made announcements in the dressing room, they had substance and were heard by the players. "He often woke the team up, not only with his presence on the ice, but also in the dressing room when it was necessary," recalls companion Daniel Welser.
The former captain will be seen and heard once more on the ice, namely at his retirement next Sunday as part of his official tribute by the Red Bulls before the home game against Innsbruck. The game starts at 3:00 p.m. and the banner with the No. 51 will be pulled under the roof of the arena in the final minutes before the game.
Until the retirement on December 10th, we relive the old times with the Red Bulls. Part 3 shows some of the best and coolest photos from the years 2015 to 2019.
