The ice hockey 1x1 event at the Eisarena Salzburg on November 29 was an outstanding experience for children aged 4 to 6, who had the unique opportunity to take to the ice with former legendary and current Red Bulls professionals. The children were warmly welcomed by the players Mario Huber and Peter Hochkofler and even given a tour of the professionals' dressing room.
Professional team as surprise guest
After changing, the children took to the ice, where Daniel Welser led the training session. The children were introduced to the basics of the sport and showed great enthusiasm right from the start. The crowning glory of the Ice Hockey 1x1 in Salzburg, however, was the unexpected arrival of the entire EC Red Bull Salzburg team on the ice, who surprised the children and supported them during the exercises. A total of around 45 children took part in the Ice Hockey 1x1 in Salzburg. Parents, children and professionals were delighted with the joint training session and left the ice rink with a smile on their faces.

Next stop: December 12 in Wels
Due to its overwhelming success, the initiative is planning the next Ice Hockey 1x1 in Wels on December 12. A large crowd is once again expected with great anticipation when children get the chance to immerse themselves in the world of ice hockey and learn from experienced professionals.
What is Ice Hockey 1x1?
With the Ice Hockey 1x1 initiative, the legendary Red Bulls professionals Manuel Latusa and Daniel Welser, together with active and former professionals, want to pass on the fascination of the sport to children. The project is primarily aimed at the target group of "non-ice field hockey kids". In other words, those who have not yet had any contact with ice hockey but would like to try it out. The aim is to find even more children for and with the clubs in order to give young players in Austria more depth.
