"Can learn a lot from the strong opponents"That was the CHL season 2023/24 of the Red Bulls// Champions Hockey LeagueWith yesterday's last matchday, the Regular Season of the Champions Hockey League 2023/24 is over. The Red Bulls are in 20th place after six rounds and are therefore not in the playoff round of 16.
In the end, the gap to the 16th place was nevertheless significant, with only one win from six games (see below), the Red Bulls were five points short of a playoff spot. Three times, the ICE champions missed out on possible point wins by just one goal. The Red Bulls also faced the eventual Regular Season winners Adler Mannheim in the preliminary round, while top Swedish side Skellefteå AIK will enter the knockout round in fifth place.

Momentaufnahmen mit den Red Bulls in der CHL 2023/24
Even if the elimination from the CHL - it was the first time that the Red Bulls did not reach the playoff - still hurts, the Salzburgers have shown some strong games in the top division again and take a lot of positives from this competition for the further tasks.
Ali Wukovits looking back
"Although we didn't make it to the playoff, we still gained confidence. We played against very good opponents at eye level. At the same time we can learn a lot, the CHL level games prepared us very well for important games in the ICE Hockey League."
Red Bull Munich's 'colleagues' finished the Regular Season in 10th place with three wins and will face Genève-Servette in the Round of 16 for a duel between the German and Swiss champions.
