"My mother's cousins all live in Ireland. When my mother was five years old, her parents emigrated to Canada. So we still have a lot of family there, most of them live near Dublin." So for the Red Bulls defender with dual Canadian-Irish citizenship, the CHL trip to Belfast is also a bit of a journey into his own family history, because he hasn't seen his Irish relatives all that often, as he told us:
Eight or nine relatives are now coming to the game in Belfast to at least see Dennis play in the stadium. "We want to meet briefly, of course, so we'll see if that works. Maybe after the game. In any case, they'll be cheering us on really loudly."
