Head coach Oliver David and his coaching crew asked - after a two-day teambuilding on the Italian Adriatic coast with sailing double Olympic champion Hans-Peter Steinacher - the reigning champion of the win2day ICE Hockey League on the ice of the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy.
New players Adam Payerl and Ryan Murphy as well as Philipp Sinn and Maximilian Wurzer from the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy were also present.
Head Coach Oliver David:
"In the last few days we had a teambuilding with Hans-Peter Steinacher, where we set our goals and values for this season. When we came together today for the first ice practice, we went through these values again. On the ice, the players implemented them immediately, which is why I'm very satisfied with the first training session. So we were able to set a right direction for the whole season already today."

Captain Thomas Raffl:
"The anticipation for the season is as great as it is every year. We are a new team again this year and of course we have to get together again. This already starts at the first training and everyone is naturally looking forward to being on the ice again. Of course it was still a bit shaky on the blades today, but with the upcoming ice times it will go relatively quickly until we are back. The intensity was high and the training was very cool. You can tell we all came out of the summer very well prepared."
Already next week, on Friday, August 11, the first test is scheduled for the Red Bulls in Zell am See. The guests will be the Swiss first league team EV Zug, the game starts at 7:30 p.m. with free admission.
