Wings for Life Spieltag
Once a season, the Red Bulls dedicate a game day to "Wings for Life," bringing the spinal cord research foundation into the public eye. Traditionally, the players wear specially designed jerseys on this game day, visually emphasizing the charitable cause. The foundation's goal is to find a cure for spinal cord injuries.
The jerseys are worn only on the Wings for Life game day and are then distributed throughout the season. 100% of the proceeds go to the spinal cord research foundation.

Wings for Life Jersey with Special Design
For many years, the Wings for Life jerseys have been designed by artists who dedicate their time to the cause and give the jerseys a striking look. This year, the layout was designed by Munich-based artist Katharina Bourjau. It not only connects the two worlds of Wings for Life and ice hockey, but also the two cities of the Red Bull Ice Hockey Organization.
Salzburg is represented on the jersey by Hohensalzburg Fortress. Munich – where the German Red Bull team had their Wings for Life game yesterday and won at home against Ingolstadt by a score of 4-0 – is symbolized by the Frauenkirche (Cathedral of Our Lady) and the SAP Garden.
How can you get a Wings for Life jersey?
The price of a Wings for Life jersey from EC Red Bull Salzburg is €250. After the game, interested parties can send an email to wingsforlife@redbulls.com listing their three preferred jerseys. Jerseys will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the order in which emails are received and availability is determined. Fans who are awarded a jersey will be notified by email and will also receive payment details.

The Wings for Life World Run takes place on May 10th.
Another opportunity to support Wings for Life is the annual Wings for Life World Run, which starts worldwide on May 10th. There will once again be an organized App Run in Salzburg's Volksgarten, for which you can already register. With 1,500 participants, the App Run in the Volksgarten was the largest organized run in Austria last season, and we are of course looking forward to seeing you there again this year.
Your own running shirt in the "Red Bulls & Friends" running team
If you would like to run the Wings for Life World Run in a running shirt designed like the Red Bulls' Wings for Life game-day jerseys, simply register in the "Red Bulls & Friends" running team and add an extra boost of €10 to the registration fee of €25. All further information, which is constantly updated, can be found directly in the "Red Bulls & Friends" running team, which, since this year, can only be accessed directly via the app.
