The Austrian champions welcome the HC Pustertal Wölfe to the Eisarena Salzburg (7:15 pm) and thus face the South Tyroleans for the second time in the still young basic round. This game will be shown free of charge in the livestream Live.ice.field hockey, Puls24.at & Joyn.

The starting position
The Red Bulls returned from Växjö on Wednesday with a broad chest, having beaten the Växjö Lakers 3:1 in the fifth game of the CHL Regular Season and thus already secured their playoff spot ahead of the final sixth game next Wednesday at home against Sparta Prague. Despite the added confidence, the Salzburgers are aware that tomorrow's home game against Pustertal will again require maximum performance.
This was not only shown by the last encounter against the South Tyroleans, which the Red Bulls won 7:3, but only scored four goals in the final third to make things clear. The club from Bruneck then suffered a home defeat against Linz, but then clearly won 6:3 at home against the KAC on Sunday.
Similar to Salzburg, the load and the goals are spread across many shoulders for the current tenth-placed team. Tommy Purdeller, Jason Akeson and Matthias Mantinger each scored three times, plus a further 8 goals in total. Goal difference after 7 games: 20:27.
