During his time with the Red Bulls, the former Salzburg captain not only helped shape the fortunes of the club for 14 years and had a significant influence on its performance, but also won the most titles (together with Dominique Heinrich), even if he does not see himself as a 'trophy collector'.
He lifted the League Cup, formerly the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, now the win2day ICE Hockey League, six times with the Red Bulls and was also there when Salzburg brought the trophy to Salzburg for the first time in 2007, two years after promotion to the top division. At that time, it was actually on Salzburg ice, as the Red Bulls won all seven of their subsequent titles on foreign ice.
The 'Bulldozer' also celebrated victories in the European Trophy with the then final tournament Red Bulls Salute in Vienna (2012) and the Continental Cup (2010). Unique from Salzburg's perspective is his NCAA title with the University of Maine (1999). In his last professional season, he made it to the semi-finals of the CHL (2019) with the Red Bulls, which is also his greatest international club success.
Until his retirement on December 10, we relive the old days with the Red Bulls. Part 2 shows some of the best and coolest photos from the years from 2011 to 2015.
