Salzburg City Festival 2025Ice hockey fever in the heart of the old town// Salzburg City FestivalThe Salzburg 2025 City Festival was a complete success - with bright sunshine, a great atmosphere and thousands of visitors on Residenzplatz.Right in the middle of the action: EC Red Bull Salzburg, which joined forces with ServusTV, FC Red Bull Salzburg, Wings for Life, Red Bull 400 and Tauroa to create a multifaceted experience as part of the “World of Red Bull”.

Sport, action, emotion - and lots of ice hockey: the weekend offered countless highlights for fans young and old. The date for the next city festival has already been set: June 26 to 29, 2026.
Take part, collect stamps - and win
At the EC Red Bull Salzburg station, visitors could play their way through various interactive stations with a stamp collection pass - with an official participation certificate as a reward.

Whether at the shooting station, with precise stickhandling on the skills board, playing NHL 25 on one of the PS5 consoles or in the virtual reality goggles as an ice hockey goalie - visitors were able to test their ice hockey skills.
There was also plenty for the little ones: in addition to a bouncy castle and a craft corner, there was a soft puck for all children to take home - ideal for practicing what they have learned at home.
A real highlight was the photo wall, where you could pose in full gear next to the original win2day ICE Hockey League trophy and the statue of captain Thomas Raffl.

Experience the pros up close
Unforgettable fan moments were had at the autograph sessions with the EC Red Bull Salzburg players:
Peter Hochkofler and Mario Huber were on hand on Saturday, while Maximilian Wurzer and Luca Auer were busy signing autographs on Sunday. Photos, personal conversations and beaming faces made these encounters special experiences for fans of all ages.
Mascot Rob right in the middle of it all
Our club mascot Rob, who was on hand to take photos, sign autographs and inspire young and old with his energy, also ensured a good mood on both days.

Over 1,000 happy participants
More than 1,000 visitors successfully completed the stations and received their personal certificate. The reward was a spin on the wheel of fortune - the prizes included day tickets for the Champions Hockey League, exclusive merchandise, the “HockeyChecker” coloring and craft book and soft pucks to take home.

Start of the new season: Champions Hockey League
The new season is already in the starting blocks for our adult fans too. The first home games of the Champions Hockey League are fixed - we are looking forward to full stands in the Eisarena Salzburg:

Tickets will be on sale from mid-July. Our season ticket includes all CHL home games.
