Juniors defeat Fassa 8:3Myllymaa and Ramoser score twice// JuniorsThe Red Bull Hockey Juniors beat the SHC Fassa Falcons 8:3 in the Alps Hockey League.Fassa took an early two-goal lead in the first period. However, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors promptly turned the game around to 4:2. In the second period, the home side increased their lead to 6:2. In the final period, the South Tyroleans managed another goal, but the Red Bull Hockey Juniors scored to make the final score 8:3.
Course of the game
Sebastian Seli scored the first goal for Fassa after 37 seconds. In the 4th minute of the game, the Juniors - already decimated by the U20 World Championship - had to concede another goal. However, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors then became noticeably more active and found their way back into the game, thanks in part to an overtime situation. Julius Ramoser overcame the South Tyrolean goalkeeper for the first time (10th) and reduced the deficit. Kalle Myllymaa equalized in the 14th minute and gave the Juniors the lead with his brace in the 16th minute. Jesse Helander rounded off the first period with a goal in the 19th minute to make it 4:2.
The hosts started the second period much more actively than in the first. In the 26th minute, Alexander Rebernig increased the lead to 5:2 with his first goal in the Alps Hockey League, followed by Paul Noll, who increased the lead to 6:2 just one minute later (27th). The game gained in intensity, became more physical, and was characterized by back and forth. Despite the increased momentum, however, neither team managed to score another goal.
The Juniors got off to a strong start in the final period, but conceded a goal in the 44th minute through Davide Schiavone. The home side then became more active and the game again became more physical. In the 46th minute, Julius Ramoser also scored his brace and increased the score to 7:3. Juniors captain Lukas Hörl finally increased the final score to 8:3 in the 53rd minute.

"The start today wasn't ideal, but with the overtime goal we were able to get back to our game. We were then able to play our game, and it went very well. The first game after a long break is never easy, though, and we noticed that in the first few minutes of the game."
